L293D Motor Driver Shield for NodeMCU ESP8266
This is the first motor shield for ESP8266 based on ESP-12E. It is very convenient and cheap to diy a WiFi RC smart car.
Feature :
1. Motor power supply (VM): 4.5V ~ 36V, can be powered separately
2. Control power (VIN): 4.5V ~ 9V (10VMAX), can be powered separately
3. Module provides short-circuit sub (short the VM and VIN), you can easily use one power (must 4.5V ~ 9V) while completing motor drive and control.
4. Logic operating current Iss: ≤60mA (Vi = L), ≤22mA (Vi = H)
5. Drive part of the work current Io: ≤1.2A
6. Maximum power dissipation: 4W (T = 90 ℃)
7. Control signal input level: High: 2.3V≤VIH≤VIN; Low: -0.3V≤VIL≤1.5V
8. Working temperature: -25 ℃ ~ + 125 ℃

Notice:
When inserted into the ESP-12E module, please note the direction consistent with an expansion board antenna. The use of short modules that can simultaneously control board and motor.

1. Connect the device as below
ESP8266 -> L293D
L293D -> DC Motor Vertical motor 3-6 Volt
• A+ -> Red line
• A- -> Black line
L293D -> DC Motor Vertical motor 3-6 Volt
• B+ -> Red wire
• B- -> Black wire
L293D -> 12V Power Supply
• VM -> Positive
• GND -> Negative
